Good morning and thank you very much for your visit to English Plus blog!
Today, let's learn some tips for the new TOEIC test.
As you probably know that the TOEIC test consists of 2 sections "Listening section (Part 1-4) & Reading section (Part 5-7)."
Listening section is about 45 min, plus Reading section is about 75 min.
There is no break between Listening and Reading, so you have to concentrate on English for 2 hours in a row.
Since last May, the contents of TOEIC test have changed.
For instance, the number of the questions in the most parts has changed.
Part 7 is Single & Multiple passages, and is now composed of 54 questions.
In Part 7, you have to read a selection of texts, and after reading, choose the best answer for each question.
One tip for this Part 7 is reading skills, especially reading speed.
In order to finish Part 7 on time, you need to improve reading speed.
Also, to get a higher score, you have to understand the texts.
At English Plus' TOEIC lessons, we check our students' reading speed every time in order to finish the test on time.
