I envy you can enjoy variety of hot-springs with different scenery and atmosphere, together with different quality of mineral springs in your neighborhood. And it's good entrance fee is cheap. From your photos I feel they are so comfortable and relaxation. I wish I could have a glass of beer with 鮎の塩焼き immediately after the bath.

Most people go to hot spring for relaxation, and some for medical treatment. It's very, very rare to go for reading a book.
