Happy New Year! It’s already 2017!

So, we thought back to the beers we drank in 2016. We tried so many great beers this year! But we really didn’t have a chance to review all of them, so we would like to introduce some of our favorites of 2016 to you!

(Our list is in alphabetical order. All of these beers were so good and we just can’t rank them!)

あけましておめでとうございます！あっという間に2017年ですね！

ということでに2016年に飲んだビールを振り返ってみました。 美味しいビールを発見したものの、ブログでレビューする機会がなく・・・。ということでここで私たちの2016年のお勧めを紹介できればなと思います。

(リストはアルファベット順に並べています。どれも素晴らしいビールで、甲乙付けられません！)

Mango Even Keel

(Ballast Point Brewing Co., (California))

Supremely refreshing on a hot summer day! Tons of flavor, this beer doesn’t over do the mango flavoring. Only problem is it goes so fast! ;P

マンゴー・イーブン・キール

(バラスト・ポイント・ブリューイング・カンパニー (カリフォルニア州))

これでもかっ！というくらいに爽快感のある、暑い夏にぴったりのビールでした！味わい深いのですが、マンゴーの風味が強すぎないのも良いですね！飲みやすいので、すぐになくなってしまうのが難点なのですが・・・ ;P

Morning Joe

(Banger Brewing, Nevada)

We really didn’t review this beer, but this coffee Kolsh really caught our eye! It was hard to believe that the brewers were able to add so much rich coffee flavor to such a light and refreshing Kolsh! We loved the Morning Joe on Nitro, but they don’t have it on nitro all the time, unfortunately. So if you find the Morning Joe on Nitro, you must try it!

モーニング・ジョー

(バンギャー・ブリューイング (ネバダ州))

しっかりレビューした訳ではないのですが、このコーヒー・ケルシュは外せません！軽くて爽快感のあるケルシュなのですが、コーヒーの風味もしっかりとしていて、ブリューワーの技術に驚かされてしまいました！ 窒素を使ったものが特にお勧めなのですが、いつもある訳ではないようです。もし窒素注入のMorning Joeを見かけたらマストトライです！

Xocoveza

(Stone Brewery Co., California)

The nicely spiced sweet stout is a must for holiday season! We are sure that Xocoveza will make your holiday more joyful!

チョコヴェーザ

(ストーン・ブリューイング・カンパニー  (カリフォルニア州))

絶妙なスパイス加減の甘いスタウトはホリデーシーズンに欠かせません！ホリデーが更に楽しくなりますよ！

Hoppy Birthday & Pure Hoppiness

(Alpine Beer Co., California)

The bitterness and freshness of the hops in these beers are well balanced and both beers make you want to enjoy them thoroughly!

I was actually hesitant to try Alpine’s beer because of the their previous labels, but I really appreciate their new, more appealing label design, so that I could meet these great beers!

ホッピー・バースデー & ピュア・ホッピネス

(アルパイン・ビア・カンパニー (カリフォルニア州))

両ビールとも、ホップの苦味と爽快感が絶妙で、自然とじっくりと味わって飲みたくなってしまいます。 実は、以前のラベルが苦手でAlpineのビールは敬遠していたのですが、最近ラベルのデザインが良い感じに変更され、お陰で素晴らしいビールに巡り会えました！

Doppo Muscat Pils

(Miyashita Sake Brewery Co. Ltd., Japan)

This is a very refreshing and sweet beer, but the sweetness isn’t overpowering.

It was an amazing experience to drink this beer while enjoying the gorgeous view of Okayama Castle!

独歩 マスカット・ピルス

(宮下酒造株式会社 (日本))

爽快で、且つ甘いビールなのですが、甘みが強すぎず丁度良いですね。

岡山城を眺めながら飲むビールは最高でした！

Otra Vez

(Sierra Nevada Brewing Co., California)

This was the beer that convinced us that slightly sour goze beers can be both refreshing and easy to drink. This beer is delightfully easy drinking with a subtle salty-sour complexity. This beer can change your mind about sour beers!

オトラ・ベス

(シエラ・ネバダ・ブリューイング・カンパニー (カリフォルニア州))

軽く酸味のあるゴーゼも、爽快感があり飲みやすいビールになり得る、ということにこのビールを飲んで気付かされました！ 若干の塩気や酸味がありつつも、とても飲みやすく、サワービールの概念を覆すビールです！
