嶋面目躍如
島内抹消でフェルナンド昇格。やっぱりな、という思い。昨日の最終回、守備をオコエに代えたので変だと思った。ウィーラーのタイムリーでホームインした時に腰を押さえていたし。腰じゃなく脇腹だったのね。しかし考えてみればセンターはオコエしかいない。二軍でも田中くらいか。
八百板もライトかレフトだし、フェルナンドもセンターは二軍で数試合しかしていない。守備的にオコエでまったく問題はないが、打撃では今日も打てる気配がない。打つどころか出塁も難しいようだ。何かのキッカケが必要なんだろうか。
則本はこれまで嶋でなく足立と組んでいたので当然今日も山下かと思ったら嶋だった。嶋は第一打席はひと振りもせず見逃し三振。いや、四球狙いだとしても振れよ！という感じ。そして同点に追いついて尚満塁の場面で嶋。代打はでない。楽天にとって最早チャンスとは言えない満塁だったが嶋は前進守備の頭を超える走者一掃タイムリー２ベース。久々にタイムリーでの大量点。このところ評判が落ちていた嶋も面目を保ったのではないだろうか。
しかし今日も茂木はベンチ。ところがオコエ同様に代役の三好が打撃ではさっぱり。満塁のチャンスで代打だけの登場にもかかわらず茂木を出したのは、三好は打つ方では無理と判断されたのだろう。茂木は去年と同じように騙し騙し使っていくという事なのだろうか？
いつのまにか故障者が二人出て、その代わりとなる選手がポジションを取るどころか打線の穴になっているのが辛いところだ。高須コーチが三好とオコエを覚醒させてくれないものか。
当分はウィーラーとアマダーに頑張ってもらって三好、オコエは守備で貢献してもらうしかないかな。もしくは意外な人にセンターやらえせたりして。ちょっと明日が楽しみ。
