C女史 loves seafood, and every time we dine together, we go for seafood. This time C-san and I went to a sushi restaurant, V16 for their Omakase niguri course.
Our extra additional pieces were ankimo for her and unagi for me.
We seated at the counter in front of a Japanese sushi chef.
Having checked their menu, we agreed that 10 pieces of niguri for $40 is reasonable, while wishing they were really $20. 
Mind you C-san loves seafood and especially sushi. She is going to have a strong opinion about this restaurant.

C-san and I therefore had total 11 pieces for each of us. We loved it. Of course it did not get us full-full, yet each one of the sushi was tasty. 
C-san told the Japanese chef that she would come back to dine here again.

Then I began wondering what it is like to live in Japan. Would I want to go back NOW as an American and eat endless sushi?
Kinda yes. I miss good fish to eat more often.
