【米NYで記録的な大雨】道路冠水や交通機関に影響 州知事「1955年以来の歴史的な雨」非常事態宣言出し警戒呼びかけ

ニューヨーク市内とその周辺で29日、記録的な大雨が降り、市内の道路が冠水するなどの被害が出ました。水は地下鉄の駅構内や線路にも浸入し、一部の路線が運休となりました。
また、ラガーディア空港では、一部のターミナルが浸水して閉鎖されるなどし、発着便に欠航や遅れなどの影響が出ました。
地元当局によると、現時点でケガ人や死者の報告はないということです。
ニューヨーク州知事は、「1955年以来の歴史的な雨」だとして、非常事態宣言を出し住民に警戒を呼びかけています。

Record heavy rain fell in and around New York City on the 29th, causing damage such as flooding of roads in the city. Water also seeped into subway stations and tracks, leading to the suspension of service on some lines.
Additionally, some terminals at LaGuardia Airport were flooded and closed, resulting in flight cancellations and delays.
According to local authorities, there are no reports of injuries or deaths at this time.
The governor of New York state has declared a state of emergency and urged residents to be cautious, citing "historic rains since 1955."
