What a fantastic performance!

He really turned it on in the short program, producing 106.69.

And there were moments in that program that were really simply breathtaking.

You may have just been able to hear that he was hoping that it might get to 200, but with the

message that one of the quad toe loops was under-rotated, so that will hold his score down, and of course there was the early mistake on the quad loop as well

So, even taking that into account, he’s gone so close to the magical 300-point barrier that, of course, he has broken a number of times,
