甥っ子しい君のお部屋の向いのソメイヨシノもやっとこさ、三分咲きかな！

the other side of Genbei River behind ours there’re many trees of Someiyoshino, the most popular Sakura variety in Japan 

 

 

なんだか、今年はさみし気なお花に見えちゃう・・・

finally they too started blooming!

 

 

そう言えば、メジロさんたち、お花が咲いて忙しいようで、もうベランダにはすっかり姿を見せなくなってる！

during the Winter, White-eyes visit our balcony but now they must be too busy with flowers, they don’t come to us anymore!!!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

はらはらと散り始めたオオシマザクラ

OshimaZakura’s flower petals are now started falling

 

 

 

 

お花の芯が赤くなると、もう散っちゃうよ～という合図

when the centre part of a flower becomes red, it means its petals are falling soon

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

オオシマザクラは終わちゃうけど、こんどは枝垂れ桜が咲き始める

then the weeping-cherries start blooming
