電車にも乗らなくていいし、在宅勤務ができる会社なんで
給料以外はほとんど不満がない会社ですが、やはりできる
うちに仕事を探しておこうと思いLinkedin に登録した。

そしたらとある日、以下のようなメールが届いた。

直接メールが届く事は前にもあり、人材会社の方でもなさそうで、
プロジェクト系という事で、詳細を教えてほしい旨を以下のように
メールした。つたない英語で。

そしたら次のようなメールが返ってきた。

I know we are unfamiliar with each other as this may come as a surprise to you.
I am proposing abusiness transaction to you and please take this seriously.
I am proposing a deal that will make us richer and you are very important to this
deal as you will find out. I am a Chief Financial Officer working with Royal Bank 
of Scotland Group United Kingdom (UK). I am in a very vital position at the bank
which made me the personal accountant to Late Engineer.

David <ブログ管理者の苗字> A foreign Investor 

in Bio-Technology. Unfortunately, my client died with his family during a summer
trip in 2008, may his soul rest in peace.

He died without leaving a will. Several efforts have been made to find his extended
family through your embassy without success. I received a notice last week from
the Bank to provide the next of kin or the account risk being confiscated by the
UK government (es-cheat) in 21 working days' time. I am contacting you to assist
me in repatriating the funds left behind by my late client since you both share the
same last name. This claim will be executed without breaching the UK and your
country's law and success are guaranteed if we cooperate on this.

With my input on this, the bank will release the account to you because of your last
name and my recommendation of you as the true beneficiary / next of kin to my
late client account. I am a very honest woman full of integrity and a good reputation

 is 25,649,400.00 (GBP), I propose we share the proceeds 60:40%, I think this is fair
enough since am the principal initiator of this deal. I will forward you the necessary

上記メールが来ていてざっくり要約すると、僕と同じ苗字の投資家の方が
事故にあって死んでしまった。銀行に政府から21日営業日以内にその人の
口座の相続人がいなければ凍結するが、相続人の情報を教えてくれ。

という連絡が来たので、およそ30億円ぐらいの資金が残っているがこれを
60:40の割合で上げるので、協力せよとのこと。大使館も必死にその人の
家族を探したが見つからない。このプロジェクトは100%成功するらしい。

明らかに詐欺メールだと判断できるのですが、ちょっと以下のような
メールを送ってみた。

という趣旨で返した。

it might be unsafe for me and you. It would be safer for us to communicate by email

my cell lines are been tapped and monitored ever since I received notice from my
bank to provide the next of Kin to my late
 client's account. I hope you see the reasons for my decision
 about us talking by mail for now. As soon as the money has been transferred to
your personal account I will travel to a country 
of our choice where we can see in person and subsequently 
share the funds in the ratio as discussed earlier.


I personally count on God to facilitate our plan and understanding, to produce not

アドレスに提出せよと指令がきた。

でも以下のメールアドレスはググっても出てこないし、

以下のアカウント情報や、Ｔａｘ番号をググってみると同じひっかけに
あった人がいるみたい。

次のブログでも同じ手口にあったという記載があった。

ちなみにメールをくれたKatie Murrayという人のパスポートの
写真も送られてきていて、割とよくできていた。

絶対偽物だと思う。

これ以降のメールは無視しており、特に追加メールは来ていない。
やはり詐欺という事で確定だろう。

パスポートの写真が来たときは信じそうになったが、気を付けよう。
