１人の凶悪な人間のせいで、多くの人々が犠牲になる事は歴史上何度も繰り返されて来ましたが、その中でも最も最悪だったと見なされているのはヒットラーだと思います。

　彼と彼の率いるナチスによって何百万ものユダヤ人や障碍者や同性愛者がガス室で虐殺されていったのです。

　しかし、その史上最悪とも思われるヒットラーよりももっと残虐だったのがスターリンでした。スターリンは、自分に反対する人間を徹底的に殺害し、その数は数百万人を超えると言われています。更に、今のウクライナが飢饉に見舞われた時も、救済するどころか、農民達から徹底的に農作物を取り上げて、外国に売ってお金にして自国の工業化を図ったのです。そのせいで、食べるものを全部取り上げられたウクライナの農民たち数百万人が餓死したされています。更にポーランドでの大量虐殺やソ連邦内での強制移住や強制労働などでトータルで２５００万人もの人が犠牲になったとされています。

　犠牲者の多さや悪質さに於いてはヒットラー以上だとも、思えますが、たまたま、スターリンは連合国側のリーダーでしかもあの最悪のナチスドイツを打ち破った事で、その悪質さが、大々的に非難されることはなく、やっぱりヒットラーこそが最悪の極悪人であるとされてしまった節がありますが、客観的に見れば、スターリンの方がもっともっと最悪な人間であったことは明らかだと思います。

　その人類史上最悪であるともいえるスターリンの悪事を、プーチン政権は歴史教育では殆ど教えず、従って、今の若いロシア人はスターリンが人類史上最悪の独裁者であったという事実を殆ど知らないとのことです。その結果、今の若いロシア人は、スターリンこそがロシアを強国にした建国のヒーローだとして尊崇している人が多いということです。プーチンが自らの独裁的強権を正当化するために、若い人々に愛国教育を徹底して洗脳教育をしていった結果、スターリンこそが真の愛国者でヒーローだと多くの若い人が思い込むようになった訳です。

　そういう、愛国的な若いロシア人達は、ウクライナで思うような戦果をあげられていないプーチンのやり方は、生ぬるいと、思っているそうです。もちろん、ロシアの若い人々の中には海外からの情報を得て、戦争に反対している人も沢山いますが、それ以上に、プーチンはもっと強硬な手段をとるべきだと思っている若者が多いそうなのです。

　これは大変に恐ろしいことで、今のロシアの暴挙は、ただ単にプーチンが滅茶苦茶な事をしていると思われているようですが、実は、プーチンの長年の愛国主義教育のせいで、今やプーチン自身ですら、生ぬるいと批判されるほど、過激な世論が形成されてしまっているということです。

　ということは、たとえ、今のプーチン政権が倒れたとしても、場合によってはもっと過激で強硬な政権が誕生してしまう可能性すらあるという事です。

　人類史上最悪の残虐な独裁者スターリンを心から尊崇するロシア至上主義の人々が何千万人もいるという事実は、今回のウクライナ問題が本当はもっともっと深刻な恐ろしさを秘めているということを示唆しているのかもしれません。

 

Patriotic Young Russians Criticize Putin for Being Lukewarm

 

   The death of many people because of one heinous person has been repeated many times in history, but I think Hitler is considered the worst of all.

   He and his Nazi regime slaughtered millions of Jews, cripples, and homosexuals in gas chambers.

   But even more brutal than Hitler, who can be considered the worst of all time, was Stalin. Stalin thoroughly murdered anyone who opposed him, and it is said that the number of his victims exceeded millions. Furthermore, when famine struck Ukraine, instead of providing relief, Stalin took away the crops of the peasants and sold them to foreign countries for money in order to industrialize his country. Millions of Ukrainian peasants starved to death because they were deprived of everything they had to eat. In addition, it is estimated that a total of 25 million people were killed in the genocide in Poland and forced emigration and forced labor in the Soviet Union.

   It seems that Stalin was even more vicious than Hitler in terms of the number of victims and his viciousness, but because Stalin was the leader of the Allies and defeated the worst Nazi Germany, his viciousness was not generally condemned, and people still think that Hitler was the worst villain of all. However, if we look at it objectively, it is clear that Stalin was a much worse man.

   The Putin administration has not taught any of Stalin's evil deeds in history education, which can be said to be the worst in the history of mankind, and therefore, young Russians today hardly know that Stalin was the worst dictator in the history of mankind. As a result, many young Russians today revere Stalin as the founding hero who made Russia a powerful country. As a result of Putin's thorough patriotic education and brainwashing of young people in order to justify his dictatorial might, many young people have come to believe that Stalin is the true patriot and hero.

These patriotic young Russians think that Putin's methods are lukewarm, as he has not been able to achieve the desired results in Ukraine. Of course, there are many young Russians who are against the war, informed from abroad, but there are many more who think that Putin should take more aggressive measures.

   This is very frightening, because it seems that people think that Russia's current outbursts are just Putin doing something crazy, but in fact, Putin's years of patriotic education have created a public opinion so radical that even Putin himself is now being criticized for being lukewarm.

   This means that even if the current Putin regime falls, there is a possibility that an even more radical and hard-line regime may be born.

   The fact that there are tens of millions of Russian supremacists in this world who truly revere Stalin, the worst and most brutal dictator in human history, may suggest that the real nature of Ukraine issue is really much more serious and frightening.
