Minter man arrested in Montgomery homicide case

Montgomery police have arrested a man in connection to a homicide last month.

Police say 18-year-old Keehsar Henderson, of Minter, is charged with capital murder in the shooting death of 52-year-old Christopher Manuel.

The shooting happened around 10:20 p.m. on April 7 in the 4700 block of Mobile Highway.

Once police and fire medics arrived, they found Manuel dead on the scene.

Henderson was taken into custody on May 9 by MPD and the United States Marshals Gulf Coast Regional Task Force.

He is currently in the Montgomery County Detention Facility on no bond.
